Hello from me …
When I wrote and delivered my beautiful Mum’s funeral service, it was the greatest honour of my life. Bringing her spirit back into the room through words and music, surrounded by family and friends, was a profoundly moving experience. Even now, seven years later, people still stop me in the street to talk about that service. Doing that for my Mum and family is what drew me to become a celebrant.
Funerals are days we all dread, but with the right people supporting you, they become a beautiful memory that stays with you for a lifetime. Of course, funerals are sad, very sad, but they can also be joyous, filled with love and recalling happy memories. They represent the final memory you will make with your loved one, and they should reflect their love, joy, personality, and life.
My role is to ensure that this final goodbye is one you can be proud of—one they would have loved. Together, we’ll create a ceremony that family and friends will remember as the perfect celebration of their life, filled with love, laughter if appropriate and special memories.

I will visit your family to spend time understanding your loved one’s personality, hear all about their life and any specific wishes for the ceremony. We’ll choose meaningful music and readings together. After writing the service and eulogy, I’ll deliver this heartfelt dedication with love and respect.

A memorial service offers the flexibility of holding the ceremony in a location meaningful to your loved one—whether in a woodland, on a beach, or another special place. I will work closely with you to create a service that honours their memory, offering comfort and reflection.

A celebration of life focuses on joyfully remembering your loved one, and can be held in any setting, such as a hotel or a venue of your choice. I’ll work with you to design a ceremony that captures their spirit, ensuring a beautiful and uplifting tribute.
